Samantha Downs

Samantha's story as told by her mother-in-law:  Samantha was born in Gulfport, Ms to Michelle and Bill Forehand.  Samantha's parents divorced and she was raised by her mother and step-father.  Her older sister's name is Tabetha.

My son, Brad met Samantha at school. They became friends and had known each other for a couple of years before they started dating.  After Hurricane Katrina hit, Brad went around checking on all of his friends and stopped at Samantha's house to see if her and her family were okay.  Her and Brad sit outside talking and when Brad went to leave Samantha kissed him...He floated home on cloud nine....That was the beginning of their relationship.  They spent as much time together as they could.. They broke up for awhile. and when Samantha turned 18 she called Brad and he quit work so he could go see her...They got back together and were married in June of 2007.

Samantha had a big heart..When you were her friend she would do anything to help you... Everybody came to her for advise and to solve their problems.  She was loved by many...
